In recent years the Society has relied significantly on corporate support to help sustain its mission:

“to improve the science and art of surgery and the interchange of medical knowledge and information, to promote research to improve the quality and safety of surgery and surgical procedures and to engage in scientific or educational programs for the benefit of the surgeons and medical community of Northeastern Ohio”
